1. Who we are
HomeRustle is operated by VFR Solutions LLC ("HomeRustle," "we," "us"). We run a platform that connects real estate buyers and sellers. Contact: michael.andrew@vfrsol.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data — email address, name, and phone number you provide at signup.
- Buyer Quest data — location, price range, bedroom/bathroom preferences, and any other criteria you enter.
- Listing data — property address or approximate location, price, and other details you provide.
- Payment data — processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, browser type, and IP address.
3. How we use it
- To operate the platform and match buyers with sellers.
- To process payments and send transaction confirmations.
- To send you notifications when a match is found or a reveal occurs.
- To connect you with real estate professionals at your request.
- To improve the product and troubleshoot issues.
4. Anonymization
Before your contact information is shared with another party, that party must complete a paid reveal. Until then:
- Buyer Quest locations are shown as approximate circles — your exact coordinates are never displayed.
- Seller listing locations are fuzzed by approximately one kilometer and prices are rounded before display.
5. Who we share data with
- The other party in a reveal — when you or the other party pays for a reveal, both sides receive each other's contact details.
- Vendors you request introductions to — when you use Connect, we share your name, email, phone, and the situation you described.
- Service providers — Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only on our behalf.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and quest/listing data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing us. Payment records are retained as required by law.
7. Voice input
The voice input feature uses your browser's built-in speech recognition, which may transmit audio to your browser vendor (Google or Microsoft). HomeRustle does not receive or store audio recordings.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing michael.andrew@vfrsol.com.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the platform.
